"No Retreat from Destiny" is being produced by Historical Entertainment, LLC
in conjunction with Lionheart Filmworks LLC, and directed by Kevin R.
Hershberger, director of the critically acclaimed feature, Wicked Spring.
The production team for "No Retreat from Destiny" brings together a powerful
combination of skills and talents in filmmaking and living history,
reinforcing the team's commitment to delivery a feature-quality film with
high authenticity standards and strong dramatic impact.
In March, 2006, ten percent of the film's profits from advance DVD sales was
donated to the Western Maryland
Heritage Foundation for battlefield preservation.
The DVD release of the film includes the final 106 minute feature film, a 45
minute 'making-of'
documentary, commentary track, nearly an hour of footage from the 2004 "To
The Gates of Washington" 140th anniversary re-enactment. The special
Collector's Edition of the DVD is packaged with the original motion picture
soundtrack CD.
The original soundtrack was written by acclaimed film composer David G.
Russell, who also wrote the soundtrack for "Wicked Spring."
